Gwangju Station Operates Tour Train to Namee Island

The Gwangju Branch of the Korean Railway has announced that it will operate a tour train to Namee Island and Soyang River Dam in Chuncheon city from 9th of August to 10th for two consecutive days.

This train is expected to depart from the Gwangju Station and arrive at Gapyeong Station, giving passengers an opportunity to look around the Metasequoia road in the Namee-island along with the birthplace of one of the most distinguished authors in Korean literature, Kim Yu-jeong's.

The passengers are also expected to visit the Soyang River Dam and enjoy the local delicacies such the local Spicy Grilled Chicken and Buckwheat Noodles.

The tour will be 70 thousand for one adult and 50 thousand for a child.
