Second meeting of Exec. Council for Ethical Management

FKI invited Lawyer Jeong Suk Lee, a former corporate compliance officer, to the year's second meeting of the Executive Council for Ethical Management held on July 17 in Yeouido.

"To firmly establish corporate compliance, members of organizations need to be more interested in compliance, and join efforts to set it up as a corporate culture," she stressed. "To prevent this mandatory system of installing compliance officers and compliance assistants under financial laws and commercial law from merely sticking to formalities, the will of top management and the agreement of corporate executives and staff must help create an in-house culture regarding compliance, among others," the lawyer asserted.

Among the attendees of the meeting included Vice President Byung Yong Choi of Shinsegae, and 30 other council members and officials concerned.
