South and North Joint Event at Suncheon Garden Expo

The South and North Korea joint event will take place at the 2013 Suncheon Bay Garden Expo. 

The organizing committee announced that it has planned a day for the North Defectors at the Expo venue taking place on the 16th aiming to form a like mindedness with the defectors and promote harmony with North Korea.

Themed `Garden of the Earth and the Union at the Suncheon Bay,` the event will feature the performance of Pyeongyang`s art company and the singing competition between 1500 Northern defectors from Gwangju and the Jeollanamdo area.

Committee officials expect the upcoming event with the defectors will bring harmony and unity to the two Koreas despite that the installation of the North Korean Garden was canceled.
