Consuls-General and Civilian Experts to Discuss Ways to Pursue Creative Economy

On July 9, the second day of the 2013 meeting of consuls-general of the Republic of Korea, the Foreign Ministry will hold a discussion on “creative economy and job creation.”

At the session, experts in creative economy and heads of venture companies -- Chairman Lee Min-hwa of the Korea Digital Hospital Export Agency, President Chung Joon of Solid Technologies and Cha Doo-won, head of the Office of S&T Policy and Planning of the Korea Institute of Science & Technology Evaluation and Planning -- will take part in active discussions on the vision of creative economy and ways to support Korean venture companies’ bids to enter foreign markets.

The Foreign Ministry will strongly support Korean companies’ bids to enter overseas markets by drawing upon the outcome of the relevant discussions held this time and during the meeting of heads of overseas diplomatic missions in May this year.
