The Bridge Company of the Army's 1117 Engineering Group conducted a tactical bridge  raining exercise aimed at acquiring the necessary capabilities to execute engineering  peration capabilities during wartime for two weeks from 25 March to 5 April near yongsan city.

This training exercise was conducted in two sessions with the first training session focused on loading and unloading bailey bridge parts onto freight cars in order to have them moved forward, and the second training session aimed at establishing a three layered bailey bride, which greatly enhanced the confidence of the service members in executing seamless wartime missions.

The unit was able to address and resolve all limitations with regard to conducting this training exercise through close coordination with the relevant agencies and nearby military units, which commenced 4 weeks prior to the start of the training exercise, and ensured that this training exercise was successful by carrying out thorough preparations such as setting up a mock freight car at the training site to become proficient with the loading and unloading procedures.

A unit official stated, "Through this exercise, we were able to become proficient with the procedures to move bailey bridge parts to the frontline area, which is an important wartime mission, and to acquire the capabilities to deal with various contingency situations that are difficult to experience, in and around the post.
