Starting from today, the ‘Wide-Area Transfer System for Public Transportation’ will commence operations in Gwangju and Jeollanamado area.
Under the newly established system, bus commuters can take the advantage of the free transfer by touching their bus cards to the electronic card reader located at the rear door on buses
In addition, commuters can receive 50 percent off the usual fare in Gwangju after transferring from public transportation into the city from the surrounding 5 towns and districts in Jeollanamdo including Naju.
The discount is applicable only within 30 minutes between transfers.
