LCC operations significantly increased from 217 weekly last year to 258 weekly this year. Such expansion of services is attributable to active conclusion of air services agreements with short distance countries including Japan and Southeast Asia which enabled new services thanks to expanded capacity entitlements. Inauguration of LCC services are expected to increase passenger convenience by offering more choices in terms of flight schedules and others.
