Leading up to the summer vacation period at local schools, the Gwangju’s Macji Healing Center will start a therapy program for students from elementary school who were victims of school violence and bullying.
The Macji Youth Healing Center is an institute formed in collaboration between the City’s Office of Education and the national Ministry of Education in the prevention of violence and bullying in schools and to provide therapy for victims.
Under the program, participating students can seek treatment for emotional affects from school bulling and for psychological abnormalities.
The first healing program in the Macji Center will be run from August 26th to the 30th for 5 days with students from local elementary schools.
Applications will be accepted through the local Children's Center located downtown until August 19th.
