The 2013 General Assembly of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee(BIAC) to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD) was held at the OECD headquarters in Paris, France, on May 27. Representing Korea, Chairman Yoon Kim of Samyang Holdings, concurrently Chairman of the BIAC Korea Member Committee, attended the meeting, surveying the current global economic developments, and sharing his thoughts with the other participants on pending economic issues.
Chairman Kim also joined the BIAC Board of Directors meeting in his capacity as Executive Board Vice Chair representing Asia. The Federation of Korean Industries(FKI) has been a BIAC member organization since the mid 1990s.
