ASEAN Regional Forum Chairman's Statement

In the chairman's statement issued at the 20th ASEAN Regional Forum(ARF), the Minsters underlined the importance of peace, security and stability in the Korean Peninsula.

Most Ministers encouraged the DPRK to comply fully with its obligations to all relevant UNSC Resolutions and to its commitments under the 19 September 2005 Joint Statement of the Six-Party Talks.

To this end, Ministers reiterated their support for all efforts to bring about the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in a peaceful manner.
