Suncheon Garden Expo Shows Successful Inducement of Visitors

Welcoming its one-month anniversary today, the 2013 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo has shown a successful inducement of visitors.

For the 17th to the 19th for 3 holidays last week, 300 thousand visited the venue, recording a 1.5 million in  visitors over the last month. 

Organizers expect that the number of Expo visitors to reach 6 million by the end of the event, beating their goal by 2 million people. 

Additionally, the popularity of the event has reached a National level as 45 percent of all the visitors were reported to be from areas outside the Gwangju and Jeollanamdo region.
