Following Americas, Shanghai Concert Another Huge Success!
Mesmerized Over 10,000 Fans, Wave of Pearl Red!
Following their tour in LA, USA and Santiago, Chile, TVXQ! ended their Shanghai Concert in China successfully.
TVXQ! held their ‘TVXQ! LIVE WORLD TOUR 'CATCH ME' in SHANGHAI’ at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China at 7:30 P.M. on the 20th (local time). They mesmerized over the 10,000 plus audience with the greatest concert combining fantastic performance and colorful stage production.
TVXQ! performed their hits such as ‘Catch Me’, ‘Humanoids’, ‘Rising Sun’, ‘Keep Your Head Down’ and ‘Mirotic’. Also, U-Know Yunho sang ‘Honey Funny Bunny’ with impressively powerful performances, while Max Changmin sang the soft ballad ‘Ting Hai’. They put on a total of twenty-five different performances, receiving explosive responses from the audience.
The audience enjoyed the concert by shaking pearl red glow sticks that symbolize TVXQ! and sang along to their songs in Korea. They also prepared a slogan event saying ‘TVXQ! Let’s Fly’ to impress TVXQ!. The venue’s excitement was higher than ever.
This concert sold out its 10,000 plus seats. Local fans who were unable to purchase their tickets gathered around the venue and crowded the entrance gates. It was later reported that the entrance gate was damaged and the Chinese police were dispatched to put things back into order.
Furthermore, on the 19th, many fans gathered at the Shanghai Fudong Airport to welcome TVXQ!’s visit for the first time in over a year since the ‘TVXQ! ASIA FAN PARTY’ in December 2011. They chanted ‘TVXQ!’ holding up pear red balloons and various signs. Dozens of vehicles filled with fans followed TVXQ!, causing big congestions wherever TVXQ! went, demonstrating the high popularity of TVXQ!.
Meanwhile, TVXQ!, who have successfully held their Shanghai Concert, will hold a concert at the Nissan Stadium in Japan on August 17 and 18 for the first time as foreign artists to end their 850,000 total audiences Japan Tour with a big bang.
