Performance and Exhibition for the Asia Culture Complex to be Revealed

A rough outline for the exhibition and performance program of the National Asia Culture Complex at the old provincial hall venue has been revealed. It is expected to be completed in 2015.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press conference yesterday at the Asia Culture Information Center in Dong-gu yesterday with the performance art and exhibition art directors of the complex in attendance.

Director of the performance art director, Kim SEong-hui announced that she will work toward creation of the performance programs with its contents centered around Asia’s cultural and artistic values. 

She also explained the Asia Culture Complex will introduce the European Co-production system when it’s opened and will strengthen its artistic ties with it`s Chinese, Taiwanese, Indian and Japanese counterparts. 

Exhibition art director, Lee Yeong-cheol said the complex will be equipped with artistic exhibitions with its themes involving cultural resources and personnel of Gwangju and Jeollanamdo.
