The number of the Employed in Gwangju Mark 700 Thousand

The number of employed has reportedly surpassed 700 thousand for the first time.

According to the city of Gwangju, the number of employed personnel in Gwangju marked 704 thousand last month, up 19 thousand from the same time frame last year. 
The rate of increase in employement in Gwangju was significant from January of this year with figures continuously rising every month for last four months. 
The figures are twice as high of the nation’s average and 2.8 times higher than the number of employed reported in metropolitan cities. 
Those working in the construction field saw the largest increase at 8 percent with 5,000 new employees and the wholesale food and accommodations fields at 5.1 percent over 1 year.
