The foundation will be transferred into Muju on March 28th, promoting taekwondo business.
Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (C.E.O Bae, jong shin) is planned to be moved to Jeollabukdo Muju-gun (Sulcheon myeon), a site where Taekwondo is vigorously promoted.
The foundation has reformed its operation structure from 2(Bureau)-5(Team)-1 (Promotion Department) to 2(Division)-8(Department) in order to comply with a ‘Taekwondo-won’ site structure.
The reformed organization will consist of Management-Business Division. Management division will include Business Management, Facility and Information Technology Departments, while Business Division has Business, Education and Marketing Departments. In addition, Planning Department will be directly controlled by Secretary-General.
Informatization Advancement Bureau, preciously operated as Planning, will be reformed to Information Technology in order to provide wireless (or cable) communication environment and support smooth smart network.
The foundation has newly established Education Department taking charge of education-training of Taekwondo, and expanded P.R team into Marketing Department. Also, Contents Department has newly been produced to manage events such as exhibition-festival.
Project of creation of ‘Taekwondo won’, the ongoing national business in Muju-gun Sulcheon myeon, is scheduled to be completed its building construction on June (2013). And it will open on May (2014) after establishing facility and trail operation.
